In September of 1998, a one year old German Shepherd was left at a local animal shelter.
I was lucky to have found her only hours after her arrival there, and I took her into my life.
Within three days, a pre-existing parasite nearly took her life. After two weeks of intensive
treatment, "Honey" survived and has become a great companion. In the years since, she's
become a good mouser and great four-legged, portable security system.
In October of 2000 "Zac", an all black German Shepherd, was given to me by a neighbor who
rescued the abandoned newborn pup from near death. No longer able to live in an apartment,
the growing Zac found a home here with Honey and Me.
Honey and Zac got along perfectly fine from their first minutes together. Zac suppliments the
companionship and security. Honey & Zac play hard, and they both have a LOT of fun!
