These images show fire equipment of the Wayne Township's 5 volunteer fire companies in the 1969 Memorial Day Parade. These images of equipment of Community Co 1, Property Owner's League (POL) Co 2, Pompton Falls Co 3, Preakness Co 4, Packanack Lake Co 5, and the Mack-Wayne Plastics Brigade (unofficial Co 6) have been scanned from 126 slides.
Bill Lewis of Co 3 is visible in Engine 3-1 (a 1963 American LaFrance custom built) and also included is a mug shot of Bill Klein of Co 3. |
