Mechanical troubles with a mobile crane caused this accident. Timing was everything, and the early morning accident occurred when the popular restaurant was closed. Even though a steel "I" beam penetrated the driver's cab, the man escaped with only minor injuries and remained on scene to assist with the crane's removal. Temporary supports were constructed to hold up the building's roof while the crane was pulled from the mess.
