5 Blocks burned in Paterson, NJ April 1978
"This came in at about 5:30. Chief's gig, Engine 5 (new American LaFrance) and Engine 2 (Seagrave) burned up.
We had to move the Ladder 2 truck (1976 Pirsch) 3 times in retreat or we would have lost it as well.
Started on the ground floor by kids with fireworks thrown into the containers of sawdust from a wood working shop." ~MV
